So while I have been cleaning the oven has been busy and so haven't the kiddos!!
Emmy had a playdate yesterday with some girls from the neighborhood I set the table up with water colors and mat boards "I love it when simple things can make them happy" and they helped me make this
Granola Receipe:
Old fashion rolled oats or Quick
Rasins or cranberries or other dried fruit
coconut
chopped walnuts or any nut
1 Cup of caniola oil
1 Cup of maple syrup
BE CREATIVE!!
Take a large roasting pan and line it with tinfoil then mix it all together with a spatula or wooden spoon.
Bake @ 325 for 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes
Enjoy!!
(The jar I got was from a restraunt, they just recycle their olive jars.
Ask around! )
I do love that jar you put the granola in--restaurants are great for things like that!
ReplyDeleteHere's the graham cracker recipe: http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/05/graham-crackers/
Hi--I use the recipe on the liquid certo insert and it has turned out every time. It's very much a science to making jam and took us a few years to get it right. I've found that liquid pectin is much easier to work with than the powder. If you have any other questions shoot me an email- sewmuchthyme@gmail.com!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess! I think I may email ya . Just out of curiousness where were you link to me?
ReplyDeleteYes, frozen grapes. :) Best summer snack ever. Take nice cold grapes, wash, cut into little bunches of five or six, then freeze. I like them best after they've been out for a few minutes and take on a nice slushy quality.
